Dak Prescott to heckler: ‘Jump off if you want, please’

Someone wanted to give Dak Prescott a piece of their mind after the Dallas Cowboys fell to 1-2 in a 25-28 loss to the Baltimore Ravens today. So, the Cowboys franchise quarterback decided to speak his mind back to the heckler.

The Cowboys opened the season with some promise with a win over the Cleveland Browns. As quick as that train started to roll, it soon crashed in the week two game against the New Orleans Saints, as the Cowboys took a 44-19 beating.

Today, they had a late surge against the Ravens, a team that came in 0-2 and needed a win just as badly to try to get back on track, but they fell short in the end.

Despite the rally in the fourth quarter that fell flat at the finish line, the first three-quarters of the game may be why the Cowboys did not have a chance at a comeback. The Ravens, at one point, led 28-6. CeeDee Lamb fumbled at the Ravens’ 10-yard line when they were just starting to get a rhythm.

Lamb and his quarterback also seemed to have gotten into a heated exchange on the sideline, which many cameras caught and shared around the internet this evening.

The Cowboy’s defense didn’t have an answer for Derrick Henry as the Raven’s running back racked up 151 yards on the ground.

Prescott got the ball moving in the fourth and ended up with 379 passing yards, which is pretty good despite the loss. However, when he got to the locker room area of AT&T Stadium, he could be heard casually brushing off some insults from someone off-camera.

From the video above, it seems that the heckler is saying, “You stink.”

The Cowboys quarterback confidently replies, “Jump off if you want.” Teammates would then greet him as if he just came off a win before he walks into the Cowboys locker room.

It’s been an interesting road for Prescott leading up to the 2024 regular season. As usual, team owner and general manager Jerry Jones has had some critiques of his quarterback, making many wonder if there’s trouble brewing in Big D.

Despite the loss, seeing the Cowboys quarterback already looking like he has shaken this game off could be a good sign. He did have a great fourth quarter that can help the team steamroll into a divisional game against the New York Giants this coming Thursday night.

Are things looking up in Dallas now after a few rough weeks? We shall wait and see.
