Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Kelly Villares Realized A “Lifelong Dream” Last Season
Kelly Vilares was one of the more popular Cowboys dancers from Netflix’s ‘America’s Sweethearts,’ which dropped in June. But it took some persistence on her part as she failed to make the squad on her first try.
Despite the disappointment, Kelly put in the work and was named one of 12 rookie Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for the 2024 NFL season.
A cheerleader at Rutgers, she auditioned for the DCC after graduating, finally making it last year.
“Someone needs to pinch me!!! I am SO honored to be apart of this team alongside all these incredible women,” she wrote on social media after being selected by the team. “My lifelong dream came true today, and this will be a day I will never forget. Thank you to this organization for allowing my dream to come true😭😭 So grateful for this journey.”
