Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns officially hit rock bottom in Sunday’s humiliating 34-13 road loss to the Washington Commanders.
The Browns dropped their third straight game to fall to 1-4 on the year. Deshaun Watson had another miserable outing, taking seven sacks and completing just 15 of 28 pass attempts for 125 yards and one touchdown
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski appears to be on his last thread with his $230 million quarterback, too. Trailing by 21 in the third quarter, Stefanski wanted to go for it on a 4th-and-goal situation.
But Stefanski and the Browns were forced to take a delay of game penalty and settle on a Dustin Hopkins field goal. The reason? Deshaun Watson walked toward the sideline instead of staying on the field for the fourth down play:
Stefanski was disgusted at Deshaun Watson here.
The Browns were going to go for it on 4th-and-Goal, but instead take the delay of game and kick the Field Goal.

Things don’t get much easier for the 1-4 Browns, with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens next on their schedule.
Deshaun Watson Needs To Be Benched
The Browns essentially feel forced to play Watson because of his fully guaranteed $230 million contract. But it’s time for Stefanski to accept that Watson is beyond repair, and to put backup Jameis Winston in the starter’s chair.
