Miami Dolphins Superstar WR Tyreek Hill Hints That Blockbuster Trade Is Coming With Cryptic Tweet

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has social media buzzing after posting a cryptic message on X/Twitter suggesting that a blockbuster NFL trade is on the horizon.

Just after 12:30 p.m. EST on Wednesday, Tyreek Hill wrote on X/Twitter, “woke up to trade news exciting”. No NFL trade has been announced yet, so it’s anybody’s guess what exactly he’s talking about.

The biggest name in the NFL trade rumor mill right now is Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams. On Monday, news broke that he requested a trade from the Raiders following speculation that the All-Pro wideout was unhappy in Vegas.

Tyreek Hill himself has also popped up in trade rumors over the last 48 hours. He was seen visibly frustrated during the team’s ugly Monday night loss to the Tennessee Titans that dropped them to 1-3 on the season.

The Dolphins’ season appears over unless Tua Tagovailoa returns soon, but there’s no timeline on when he’ll be back to football activities. Some have suggested the Kansas City Chiefs trade for Hill after losing No. 1 receiver Rashee Rice to a knee injury (it’s unclear how long he’ll be out).

Aside from Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper has emerged in trade speculation as well. The 30-year-old is in his contract year and feels like a good bet to get moved if the 1-3 Browns are out of the playoff race by the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

Tyreek Hill Is Struggling Without Tua Tagovailoa

The Dolphins offense has been a mess since Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bill. Hill hasn’t been able to get open with backups Tyler Huntley and Skylar Thompson, hauling in just 17 receptions for 217 yards and one touchdown.

130 of those yards came in Miami’s Week 1 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, so it’s been three straight completely forgettable weeks for Hill without his QB.
