VIDEO: Fan Gets Knocked Unconscious After Rushing Field During South Africa-Argentina Rugby Match

Things went from bad to worse when a fan ran onto the field during a rugby game between South Africa and Argentina.

After the rugby World Cup champions’ game, several fans decided to get involved in the celebrations and invade the pitch.

The spectators were running wildly across the field as they ducked and dove away from security guards.

Many of them were quickly stopped before they got further, but one guy managed to get his moment in the shine.

While two South African fans got tackled, one fan evaded several attempts to bring him down until his luck ran out.

He finally met his match when an alleged Pumas player tackled him from behind.

The man fell face-first onto the ground, showing no signs of movement, which means he was completely knocked unconscious after the tackle.

The man wearing the Springboks jersey had no clue that his day would end up with him laying face-first onto the Mbombela Stadium playing surface shortly after South Africa beat Argentina 48-7 to seal the Rugby Championship title.

According to Caxton Network News, the fan is in good health despite rumors stating he had died.

Mpumalanga Department of Health spokesperson Christopher Nobela said the man was heavily intoxicated and even asked for his beer after being discharged.

He was reportedly treated on-site and did not need to be hospitalized.
