VIDEO: Troy Aikman Put The NFL Refs On Blast For Missing Crucial Game-Changing Call Late In Lions’ MNF Win vs. Seahawks

The refs screwed up on Monday Night Football, and Troy Aikman was not going to let them get away with it by calling them out on National television.

ESPN’s Troy Aikman had an issue with the refs swallowing their whistle late in the Lions-Seahawks game.

The Seattle Seahawks lost a barnburner on Monday Night Football, but it’s hard to win a game when the refs are not properly doing their job.

There was one controversial moment late in the fourth quarter that allowed the Lions to keep their double-digit lead when Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf found himself getting tackled in the end zone before Geno Smith’s pass got to him.

Everybody saw that a flag should’ve been thrown for pass interference, but one never came.

Troy Aikman did not let the refs off the hook as he called them out.

The Lions head to the bye 3-1 after beating the Seahawks 42-29.

Seattle dropped their first game of the year and have the same record.

Officials Also Cost Seattle Seahawks Two-Point Conversion After Botched Call Against Lions

A competitive game between the Lions and the Seahawks included many incorrect calls by the refs.

Aside from a pass interference call that should’ve been called late in the fourth quarter, another call took place late in the third quarter after Seattle scored to cut its deficit to 28-20.

It appeared that Seattle made it a 28-22 game after DK Metcalf caught Geno Smith’s pass on Seattle’s two-point attempt.

The refs, however, determined that it was an incomplete pass.

As you will see below, Metcalf clearly caught the ball, maintained possession, and was able to stay in bounds on the play.
