Randi Mahomes revealed that her father, Randy, is “in the hospital” and “not well”
Patrick Mahomes‘ mother Randi is asking for prayers for the NFL star’s grandfather.
Randi, 49, shared a photo from inside her father Randy’s hospital room on Sunday, Sept. 29, as 28-year-old Patrick and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in a road win at SoFi Stadium.
“Watching game with daddy today… prayers please for my dad,” Randi wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Patrick’s younger half sister, Mia Randall, is seen in the photo watching the game in a chair beside her grandfather as the superstar quarterback helped keep Kansas City’s record perfect this season.
Randi, who is also mother to Jackson Mahomes, 23, first revealed that her father was facing health issues in a post on Sept. 13 on X. “Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy,” the mother of three wrote, adding, “He is in the hospital and is not well.”

Randi revealed to PEOPLE that her mother, Debbie, was the youngest of 11 children. “So, I have 50-something first cousins,” Randi shared.
The mother of three said she had felt directionless before becoming a mom to Patrick. “Patrick is my first child, and I grew up with him basically,” Randi shared. “I had him at a young age, and I don’t go out saying that’s the best thing to do, but it was the best thing for me just because it made me grow up.”
