Miami Dolphins Coach Arrested, Mugshot Released [PHOTO]

The Miami Dolphins have received some unfortunate news regarding one of their coaches. The team’s outside linebackers coach, Ryan Crow, was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday morning on charges of domestic battery.

Not much is known as it pertains to this matter at the moment, but Broward County jail records show that Crow was booked without bond and was still in custody at the time of this writing.

The Dolphins have issued a statement, per NBC, with Crow now placed on administrative leave.

“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and currently gathering more information. Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately,” the statement reads. “We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”

This follows a series of NFL-related arrests over the past few days, with one former NFL star recently apprehended for scamming multiple women.

Another case involves an ex-player who fell afoul of the law after attacking his son’s youth football coach.

Ryan Crow joined the Dolphins in 2024 and is said to have made a massive impact on the defensive unit, earning plaudits for developing rookie Chop Robinson, who recorded six sacks and 14 quarterback hits following a slow start, also landing a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

Crow helped the Dolphins finish among the top teams in the league in quarterback pressures and edge containment.

A mugshot has also been released since the arrest.

The 37-year-old spent six seasons with the Tennessee Titans before moving to Miami. Players such as Denico Autry and Harold Landry III had career-best campaigns during his tenure.

He also helped the team lead the NFL in rushing defense in 2022, allowing just 76.9 yards per game.

Ryan Crow started as a defensive assistant in the NFL in 2018 and later served as an assistant special teams coach. He worked with both offensive and defensive units at Purdue and Ohio before making the move to the pros.
