Coldplay’s Chris Martin made it clear to his audience at Madison, Wisconsin, that there was a possibility that they could end up on camera amid the fallout from the band’s previous appearance in Boston.

It’s not as if Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot weren’t warned. There’s actually footage of the singer telling everyone at the Gillette Stadium that the cameras would be hitting the crowd. Still, the Astronomer cheaters remained locked together until they were shown on the jumbotron.

Coldplay was back on the road this Saturday, filling Camp Randall. But Martin wasn’t taking any chances.

“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen,” he told the audience. “How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.”

“Please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!” he added with a laugh.

If you’re aware of the scandal, you know Chris Martin was not talking about makeup.

The Coldplay frontman was definitely not responsible for what happened to Byron and Cabot, but he did have a part to play.

It’s clear that he’s not keen on this happening twice.
