MyKayla Skinner has responded to Simone Biles taunting her on social media… by blocking her.
Biles was in a mood after helping Team USA gymnastics snag a gold medal on Tuesday night, so she didn’t waste time taking a swipe at her former Olympic teammate following some comments the latter made ahead of the games in Paris, France.
Skinner very publicly criticized the team, suggesting Biles was the only member who had the requisite work ethic.
“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t what it used to be,” she said, per US Weekly. “I mean, obviously, a lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic. A lot of girls don’t work as hard.”
With Tuesday’s win, the 27-year-old became the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history. She took to Instagram to post some photos of herself and her teammates celebrating the American flag.
“lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions,” she wrote as the caption.
MyKayla Skinner Is Done With Simone Biles
It would seem that MyKayla was displeased with the post. While she hasn’t responded, she’s blocked Biles.
That is according to Biles herself, who announced as much on X/Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
“Oop [sic] I’ve been blocked 👀🫢😂,” she wrote.
