VIDEO: Cameras Caught Chris Jones Crying His Eyes Out During National Anthem Before Chiefs-Texans Playoff Game

Kansas City Chiefs superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones had the most terrifying and menacing game face ahead of kickoff for Saturday’s Divisional Round tilt against the Houston Texans.

With a win over the Texans at Arrowhead Stadium tonight, Chris Jones’ Chiefs would reach their seventh straight AFC Championship Game and continue their bid for the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.

Near the end of the national anthem performance, cameras caught Jones getting incredibly emotional and shedding some tears. Let’s just say that any Texans offensive player who didn’t look at him in advance probably did themselves a favor by avoiding additional anxiety

The winner of the Texans-Chiefs game this evening will play the winner of the Baltimore Ravens-Buffalo Bills contest in the AFC Championship next week.

Chris Jones Had Another Strong Regular Season

Jones finished with only five sacks during the regular season, but that number doesn’t tell the story. He still finished with an elite Pro Football Focus grade of 89.7, including a ridiculous 91.0 pass rushing grade.

The 30-year-old Chris Jones again earned First-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl nods after leading the Chiefs to a 15-2 finish.
