PHOTOS: Pat McAfee Sent A Loud & Clear Message To The Colts With His Ruthless Actions During Their Week 18 Game After Destroying His Former Team On Social Media

Social media detectives noticed something bizarre about popular sports media personality and Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee during Sunday’s regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Pat McAfee spent his entire playing career with the Colts (2009 to 2016) before a knee injury prompted him to retire in 2017. Since his retirement from football, McAfee has emerged as one of the most popular figures in sports media.

But interestingly, folks in attendance for the Colts-Jaguars game noticed something strange about McAfee: The suite at Lucas Oil Stadium belonging to the fan favorite was empty for the regular season finale:

This comes a week after Pat McAfee went on a scathing rant against his old team, where he even vowed to cancel his Colts season tickets.

It’s one thing for McAfee to no-show the game, but it’s extra bizarre that nobody bothered to fill up those luxury seats for the team’s final game in eight months. What can we say? McAfee clearly wanted to send a message to his old squad.

Pat McAfee’s Frustrations Are Justified

The Colts went to the postseason five times during McAfee’s eight NFL seasons (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014), reaching two AFC Championships and one Super Bowl. But since 2015, this franchise has been in total shambles.

Indy has only made the playoffs twice since 2015 (2018 and 2020), with a single postseason victory to show for it. This marks the first time they’ve missed the playoffs four years in a row in 30 years (1988 to 1994), a clear indicator that the franchise needs a significant culture change.
