Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Calais Campbell is getting major props on social media following his cool player intro during Thursday night’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Green Bay Packers.
Campbell, a six-time Pro Bowler who attended the University of Miami before he was drafted, let viewers know “The U is back” while introducing himself.

Social Media Enjoyed Calais Campbell’s Intro
Fans on social media found the intro particularly enjoyable.
“Calais is my favorite player for that😂,” someone commented.
“Calais Campbell. The U is back. I cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭,” another wrote.
“Calais Campbell, the U is back. That was tight,” said a third.
Campbell is not wrong. The Miami Hurricanes are 10-1 heading into Saturday’s game against the Syracuse Orange and are among the favorites to win the national title this season.
The U showed some deficiencies in their only loss of the season against Georgia Tech, yet 2024 could still prove to be a very meaningful year for them.
