Travis Kelce commemorated his first touchdown of the season with a celebratory post on social media. After the Kansas City Chiefs defended their perfect 7-0 season record in a road win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 27, the 35-year-old tight end shared a carousel of photos from the game on Instagram.
Kelce, whose first touchdown of the season came from a Patrick Mahomes pass in the second quarter of the matchup at Allegiant Stadium, captioned the photos, “Vegas baby!! Vegas!!”
The superstar tight end has been known for his love of Sin City, where the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII in February.
During his celebratory speech after Kansas City defeated the San Francisco 49ers to win the most recent Super Bowl, Kelce excitedly declared, “Viva Las Vegas!” into the microphone as his girlfriend Taylor Swift watched proudly.
Kelce’s touchdown put the Chiefs 14 points ahead of the Raiders at halftime. The Chiefs ultimately won the matchup, 27-20.
The tight end — whose Instagram posts are usually Reels promoting his upcoming projects or game-day outfits — tagged Mahomes, 28, and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the rare Oct. 29 post.
Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith Schuster commented on the post, calling Kelce “the best to do it.”
Fox Sports commentator Erin Andrews commented as well, writing, “Get it,” on Kelce’s carousel from the big win in Las Vegas.
In another nod to Sin City, Kelce sported an Elvis Presley-inspired look at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
He opted for a black, white and red bowling shirt reminiscent of the “Jailhouse Rock” singer’s style, and coordinated the shirt with matching pants and black sneakers (no blue suede shoes here). The NFL star’s voluminous hair also wasn’t unlike Presley’s.
Next, the Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Kansas City on Monday, Nov. 4. With their win over the Raiders, Mahomes and co. are the only team remaining in the NFL with an undefeated record this season.
