VIDEO: Poor State Trooper “Had The Life Taken Out Of Him” While Standing Behind The End Zone During Falcons-Buccaneers Game

A cop working the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday was injured during the final play.

Trailing 31-26, Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield lobbed a Hail Mary pass into the back of the endzone in an attempt to squeak out with a victory.

The pass was caught, but it was done so out of bounds by receiver Rakim Jarrett.

As Jarrett was coming down out of bounds, his helmet and body slammed into a cop who was turned around looking at the crowd to ensure nobody would come out of the stands as all law enforcement do during games.

Unfortunately for him, he took the worst of the hit from Buccaneers receiver Rakim Jarrett.

Jarrett not only hit him in the back, but he also fell on his legs, which caused the poor guy to fall to the ground as his cap went flying.

Atlanta Falcone star quarterback Kirk Cousins had a spectacular game against the Bucs, completing 23 of 29 passes for 276 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions and rushing three times for 16 yards.

The Buccaneers will have a lot to overcome for the rest of the season, with Chris Godwin potentially out for the year and Mike Evans still recovering from a hamstring injury.

Baker Mayfield did all he could, throwing for 330 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers And Atlanta Falcons May Battle For NFC South Title To The Final Week

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are done but not out.

Sunday’s game was closer than anyone expected since the Bucs are without two top wideouts.

The Falcons left the game with a 5-3 record, while the Bucs slipped back to 4-4.

Both teams may battle for the NFC South crown until the bitter end since the Saints and Panthers are on a combined 11-game losing streak.
