The New York Giants have a big issue with Malik Nabers.
Nabers has been sidelined for a couple of weeks due to a concussion, but he finally returned to the field on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
For his first four games in the NFL, wide receiver Malik Nabers appeared primed to be the focal point of the New York Giants’ offense, but a concussion suffered in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 26th changed everything.
Ahead of his impending return against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the rookie opened up about the severity of his injury.
“It was scary when I couldn’t remember what happened,” Nabers said via Jordan Raanan of ESPN. “I can’t remember the last play I was in, so yeah, it was kind of scary.”
Despite missing games, Nabers is New York’s leading wide receiver this season. He has a pair of 100-yard games with 35 catches and three touchdowns to his name.
Nabers wants to help the Giants after having to watch the last two weeks.’
The team went just 1-1 without him, beating the Seahawks and losing to the Bengals.
In their loss, they could only manage seven points.
