“This is our life and I love it,” the Kansas City Current co-owner wrote alongside the snap of her kitchen on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Oct. 10
Brittany Mahomes is keeping it real!
On Thursday, Oct. 10, the former soccer player and Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, revealed that she cooked a family dinner for the “first time in a very long time.”
While stating that she thought her food “was a hit,” Brittany — who is currently expecting her third baby with her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, — playfully admitted that the kitchen was “a disaster” after her efforts as family chef.
Sharing a snap of her kitchen counter covered in cooking bowls, plates and an iPad and iPhone playing an NFL game, the star mom wrote, “I cooked dinner for the first time in a very long time and I think it was a hit.”
“And a disaster of a kitchen.. This is our life and I love it,” Brittany added across the photo.
“Also, kids getting to watch Bluey so dad has to do this,” she also wrote, referring to the two devices playing the NFL game that Patrick was watching while their kids Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, who’s turning two in November, enjoyed the Australian animated TV show.

Brittany then shared an Instagram Stories video where she asked her eldest child to review the dinner.
“Sterling, did you clean your plate too?,” Brittany asked Sterling as she filmed her daughter’s divided plate — which had two out of three sections eaten. “Look at me, did you clean your plate?”
As Sterling nodded in agreement before taking another piece of food, the proud mom added, “Was it so good?,” before Sterling replied, “Yeah” as she stood on her high chair.
Brittany’s homemade dinner comes after she and her husband took their kids for a day out in the zoo during the Chiefs’ day off.
Sharing snaps on her Instagram Stories that included giraffes, flamencos, a hippo and a lion, the expectant mother wrote, “Got to go to the Zoo today and see some behind the scenes amazing things 😍 Like feeding a baby giraffe 🥹. “
