Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may be celebrating their engagement during the Kansas City Chiefs bye week, according to analyst Troy Aikman.
The former quarterback, 57, revealed on the “Pardon My Take” podcast Wednesday that he heard the tight end, 35, recently popped the question.
“Someone actually reached out to me today and said they might actually be engaged,” the former Dallas Cowboys star said.
The big reveal came after Aikman mistakingly referred to the pop star, 34, as Kelce’s “missus” during the “Monday Night Football” broadcast.

Although the ESPN analyst received some criticism for the error, he may have been on the right track.
“So I might’ve actually broken a story,” he added.
Kelce had his best game of the season during the Chiefs’ match-up against the New Orleans Saints on Monday, tallying up nine receptions for 70 yards.
After one of his many impressive plays, cameras panned to an overjoyed Swift, who cheered alongside her father, Scott.
“The missus likes it,” Aikman told viewers before co-host Joe Buck chimed in to note the pair weren’t “married.”
“Oh I know,” Aikman replied. “I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that.”
The Hall of Famer was right as social media users quickly called him out for the blunder. However, during the podcast Wednesday, Aikman said he didn’t understand why it was such “a big deal.”
“Was I on a tightrope right there?” he jokingly asked, noting he was shocked to see so many headlines about the on-air mishap.
“I’m thinking, ‘Gosh if this is newsworthy… like really?’” he said.
Reps for Kelce declined Page Six’s request for comment. Meanwhile, Swift’s team did not immediately respond.
However, a source told TMZ that Aikman’s claims were “not true.”
“The recent erratic and unfounded speculation on this couple is just proving that media and overzealous fans do not know what’s going on with them and shouldn’t make wild assumptions based on zero facts,” they told the outlet.
“Two days ago everyone had decided they were broken up, now they’re allegedly secretly engaged? It’s whiplash-inducing.”
