After spending the offseason after winning his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift spent time together as he took a break from football. But now with the training camp open for the 2024 NFL season, the tight end is back in Kansas City and will be aiming for a historical three-peat. As he rocked up to practice, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend sported a mustache.
Now, that is not surprising since Travis Kelce has done it before as well. But that was a time before he was dating the superstar singer. And fans of hers were less than thrilled with what they saw. Some even took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask why she would allow something like this. Here are a couple of those bewildered posts.

Apart from the reactions mentioning Swift, others commented on Kelce’s mustache as well. Here are some posts, including those that supported his choice and those that didn’t.

Taylor Swift more likely than not to like Travis Kelce’ mustache
While Taylor Swift fans are worried that she might not like Travis Kelce’s choice of facial hair, they might be projecting what the entertainer thinks about her partner. Last year, when the rumors were still not confirmed that they were dating, the mustache was mentioned on the ‘New Heights’ podcast that the Kelce brothers host together.
“Have you found out what Taylor Swift thinks of your mustache?”
In a cheeky response, Travis Kelce had replied,
“Yeah, we’re not gonna bring up Taylor Swift in this episode. But something tells me she’s gonna like it!”
While we do not know when exactly the two got together, it was during her Eras Tour trip to Arrowhead in 2023 that the speculation started heating up. During that period, Travis Kelce was sporting the mustache during training camp too.
So, it looks not only likely that the singer might like his mustache, but it is entirely probable that they began their relationship in or around the time when he had it last year. The tight end might have made a conscious decision to replicate what he did during the previous season’s training camp. And from a sporting perspective, if it leads to another Super Bowl, few Chiefs fans or Swifties will be complaining.
