VIDEO: Terry Bradshaw Opened Up On Live TV About The Time He Pretended To Be “Tom Brady” In A Hilarious Story That Seems Too Wild To Be True

Terry Bradshaw surprised Tom Brady with a funny story about the time he used the latter’s name to remain somewhat anonymous as a much younger man.

Bradshaw and Brady are the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history, with 11 Super Bowl wins between them. They’re both now employed by FOX, with Brady joining the network this year, but that’s hardly their only connection.

The former QBs were both on duty for the Network this Sunday. Bradshaw was on Fox’s pregame show, while Brady fell in to call the Philadelphia Eagles’ game against his former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

At one point, Curt Menfee would bring up a story that sounded a bit too wild to be true.

Apparently, Bradshaw used the alias “Thomas Brady” after checking into a hospital for elbow surgery back in the day. He had no idea who Brady was back then, as it was 1983, and TB was only five years old.

“When I checked in they said, ‘We’re not going to check you in under your name. You’ll get hassled. What do you want to go under?’ I said, put me under Thomas Brady,” Bradshaw explained.

Brady had to make sure his legs weren’t being pulled.
