Jason Kelce Reportedly Tears Superfan’s ACL

Ron Dunphy, a devoted Philadelphia Eagles superfan, may be sidelined after a celebratory moment on last night’s ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown went awry.

The Philly fanatic injured his knee while performing a shirtless chest bump with Eagles legend Jason Kelce.

Dunphy, known for his elaborate tattoos commemorating Philadelphia sports teams – including the Eagles logo prominently inked on his chest – was pulled up on stage by Kelce before the game.

ESPN cameras caught the moment when the two collided mid-air in a celebratory chest bump. However, things took a turn when Dunphy stumbled backward, landing awkwardly and grabbing his left knee in obvious pain.

Footage showed Dunphy yelling in discomfort and limping around the stage after the impact.

Later, he confirmed the injury, sharing a video of himself icing his knee while watching the game from the stands at Lincoln Financial Field.

Of course, the Eagles ultimately lost to the Atlanta Falcons in a 22-21 heartbreaker.

“F*ck my whole knee up … So worth it lmao,” Dunphy posted on X.

Dunphy remained lighthearted about the incident, even taking pride in his leap.

“Say what you want. Yea I got hurt doing a chest bump. But I got higher than Kelce #athlete,” another post read.

Despite the obvious pain, Dunphy played off the injury, determined not to let it ruin the night.

Responding to a fan who praised him for staying on his feet, Dunphy replied, “My kids are watching me.” He even shrugged off suggestions to seek immediate medical attention, replying, “After the game,” when asked when he’d get checked out.

Speculation has swirled online that Dunphy may have torn his ACL, but the superfan has yet to confirm the severity of the injury.

Unsurprisingly, he didn’t miss any of the action on the field. However, the heartbreaking loss surely made matters worse for Dunphy.

Most fans love Kelce. Although some are growing tired of his act. Regardless, he clearly brings energy and excitement into every room he walks into.

Time will tell if he addresses the Dunphy situation – although it’s safe to assume he will.

As for the Eagles, they will attempt to get things back on track when they travel to New Orleans to take on the red-hot Saints this coming Sunday.

Where do you stand on Kelce? … Are you one of his many fans? Or are you growing sick of his act???
