VIDEO: New Camera Angle Shows Cardinals QB Kyler Murray Pulling A Steph Curry By Celebrating A Touchdown While The Ball Was Still In The Air

A slick new camera angle shows Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray performing a Stephen Curry-like premature celebration before delivering a gem of a touchdown strike to Elijah Higgins in Sunday’s blowout win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Kyler Murray had a near-perfect performance in the Cardinals’ 41-10 win over their NFC West rivals, completing 17 of 21 pass attempts for 266 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions to go along with 59 rushing yards on five carries.

Murray had several highlight reel-caliber plays in Sunday’s beatdown of the Rams. But his best play of the game was arguably this jaw-dropping 18-yard touchdown time to tight end Elijah Higgins:

Yahoo Sports’ Nate Tice shared an overhead camera angle of Kyler Murray’s breathtaking TD strike to Higgins. And as you can see in the image and video below, Murray paid a little homage to the Golden State Warriors superstar by celebrating before the score:

For those unfamiliar, Stephen Curry has a signature move where he likes to celebrate a three-point shot before it goes in, knowing where exactly the ball is going. In Kyler Murray’s case, he had no doubt that Higgins would haul that pass in for six:

After missing nine games last year, Murray is off to a dazzling start with 428 passing yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions and 116 rushing yards. Arizona will try and improve to 3-0 when they host Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

A Healthy Kyler Murray Makes Cardinals Playoff Contenders

Murray has two explosive pass-catchers in Marvin Harrison Jr. (two touchdowns against the Rams) and tight end Trey McBride, not to mention a quality running back tandem of James Conner and rookie Trey Benson. With a competent head coach in Jonathan Gannon in place, the pieces are here for Murray and the Cardinals to return to the postseason for the first time since 2021.
