Taylor Swift has finally revealed the perfumer behind her signature scent.
While the singer greeted the RuPaul’s Drag Race cast at the VMAs, drag queen Xunami Muse gushed about Swift’s perfume. “You smell so good. What is that?” asked the star, and Swift happily shared her beauty tip. ‘”Oh thank you! It’s Tom Ford!” Swift replied, according to footage posted online.
Unfortunately for perfume fans, Swift didn’t reveal the exact scent she was wearing, but Swifties say it’s likely she opted for the designer’s Santal Blush fragrance. Eagle-eyed fans spotted a bottle of the celeb-favourite scent in the singer’s 2020 documentary ‘Miss Americana’. It was also her reported perfume of choice when Swift hosted ‘Reputation’ secret sessions in the past.

Available for £222 from Tom Ford’s website, the sandalwood scent offers “exotic spices enhanced with luxe ylang-ylang, warm cinnamon, and sumptuous woods—seducing with modern, second-skin warmth.”
But if that’s not the perfume for you it’s also rumoured Swift’s a fan of Viktor&Rolf’s Flowerbomb, which has bergamot and freesia notes, meaning it offers a much more floral scent. The price is rather different to Swift’s rumoured Tom Ford pick too, as Flowerbomb is currently on sale for £80 from Boots.

Elsewhere, at the VMAs, Swift’s sartorial choices had fans talking as many wondered if her first gown of the evening could be a ‘Reputation’ Easter Egg. With its black and green-yellow colours, the tartan Dior dress screamed “goth punk”, and as fans were quick to point out, Swift described the album as a “goth-punk moment” in her 2023 TIME interview.
Her second look of the night was decidedly different, though. After accepting her first award, the singer switched up her outfit, opting for a UFO-inspired look reminiscent of her ‘Down Bad’ Eras Tour performances, which feature a UFO. It prompted fans to suggest the track will be her next to get the music video treatment.
