Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders Ends Mysterious Social Media Silence With 4-Word Post Following Blowout Loss vs. Nebraska

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders broke his social media silence after the Buffaloes’ humiliating Week 2 road loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Like his father, Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders loves using social media to promote his name and football team. The Colorado quarterback was curiously absent on X/Twitter for an entire week.

But Shedeur finally broke his silence with a four-letter tweet following his team’s 28-10 loss to the archrival Cornhuskers:

Shedeur faced criticism for leaving the field early with two minutes remaining in the contest, with many deeming it a case of poor sportsmanship. His father clarified to reporters that Sanders was injured on the targeting call and was taken to the locker room for precautionary reasons.

Shedeur Sanders didn’t stand a chance behind a leaky offensive line that surrendered six sacks in Saturday’s defeat. One year after lighting up the Cornhuskers for 393 passing yards and two touchdowns in a 36-14 blowout win, Sanders was limited to 23 completions for 244 yards, a touchdown and one interception in the 18-point loss.

But the game was practically over at halftime when the Cornhuskers built up a 28-0 lead, thanks to a prolific ground game that finished with 149 yards and two touchdowns on 35 total carries.

Widely projected as a top-10 pick for the 2025 NFL Draft, Shedeur has completed 68.1 percent of pass attempts for 689 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions over his first two seasons.

Shedeur Sanders Aims To Rebound vs. Colorado State

The Buffaloes won a back-and-forth thriller against North Dakota State in their season opener, then got crushed by a Cornhuskers team that they soundly defeated a year earlier.

So, we’ll get a better idea of who the Colorado Buffaloes are when they visit the Colorado State Rams on Saturday. The Buffaloes won the meeting 43-35 in double overtime last season, improving to 3-0.
