Shedeur Sanders Is Getting Viciously Roasted Over His Four-Word Tweet Following Colorado’s Embarrassing Loss To Nebraska

The Colorado Buffaloes are among the most hyped teams since they brought Deion Sanders to coach them. Not only did they get Deion, but they also got Shilo and Shedeur Sanders to play for the squad.

The team played against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday. Unfortunately, they lost the match-up 28-10 as Shedeur was sacked five times while throwing one touchdown against one interception in the loss.

Sanders wasn’t proud of his performance and the teams as a whole, prompting him to take to social media with a four-word tweet, and fans are roasting the 2025 NFL draft prospect mercilessly.

Sanders posted to his nearly 80,000 followers on X, stating, “New week, let’s work. ” Let’s just say the comments are fun to look at.

One fan decided to call out the signal caller for “quitting” on his team in the loss. “Maybe this week you won’t quit on your team,” the user said—quite the out-of-pocket comment aimed at the quarterback.

Another fan decided to hit the quarterback where it hurt, commenting on his assumed draft stock after the loss, saying, “Your draft stock is plummeting.” It should be noted that Sanders is set to be a top-10 pick in 2025.

Others just told Sanders not to blame his teammates after the loss. Many called him out for doing so, and one asked, “You going to blame your offensive line and receivers this time?”
