REPORT: Dallas Cowboys Release Massive Injury Update On One Of Their Offensive Superstars Following Win Over Browns

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys had little trouble securing their first victory of the year as they easily defeated the Cleveland Browns on the road, but it came at a cost for star tight end Jake Ferguson.

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson was injured in Sunday’s 33-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News added that Ferguson felt he could have played through the injury and hoped it was just hyperextended.

The 25-year-old left in the third quarter after he was tackled. He was listed as questionable but never came back in.

The following day, it was reported Jake Ferguson was diagnosed with an MCL sprain after undergoing further medical tests, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

This is huge news, as Ferguson has at least avoided a more severe knee injury. However, an MCL sprain will still likely result in the starting tight end missing time.
