The Kansas City Chiefs are just a few days away from formally starting training camp ahead of yet another Super Bowl defense. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Chiefs’ rookies and quarterbacks, including Patrick Mahomes, reported to the organization.
While photos and videos circulated, some fans wondered where Travis Kelce was. Fortunately for him, he does not have to show up until Friday, when all of the players return. This gave Kelce one additional night to spend with Taylor Swift during her concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Kelce was seen wearing a checkered green Nike shirt and a baseball cap as he watched his girlfriend perform at the Veltins Arena – home of soccer team FC Schalke. This is the 13th show that Kelce has been to, leading to speculation of something big happening as the number 13 is Swift’s favorite.
Travis Kelce enjoyed what might be his final Eras Tour appearance as he sang along Taylor Swift and her fans. Kelce could conceivably attend the show on Thursday night, but that would be a very tight schedule. Furthermore, he would be jet-lagged and exhausted on Friday, which would undoubtedly irritate head coach Andy Reid.
Kelce has been able to spend a significant amount of time with Swift on the European leg of the tour, which was uncertain before the trip began. With the Chiefs’ preseason starting in a few weeks and the regular season starting in a month and a half, Swift and Kelce may not get to spend much time together for a while.
