We couldn’t get through one full game in the NFL season before fans began to get annoyed by Cris Collinsworth.
NFL fans are clearly not happy about having Cris Collinsworth on the call for tonight’s Ravens-Chiefs game.
NBC rolled out its No. 1 broadcast team for this evening’s contest, which is being broadcast on the station to millions of people around the country.
Collinsworth is a polarizing voice in the sports media world, and with football returning, fans began to remember how much they did not miss him.
It did not take very long for others to start complaining about him.
Happy NFL kickoff to my 3 gay followers that also follow football.

Dude I’m unfollowing everyone who refers to Kelce as “Taylor’s boyfriend” 🙄
It’s already annoying.

@NFL Seriously, does Cris Collinsworth have tape on some NFL or NBC execs visiting Epstein Island or something? How does this insufferable chode still have an announcing gig? Let your sponsors know people watch games on mute because of him. #Chiefs #Ravens #NFLKickoff

Cris Collinsworth Has A Hefty Contract With NBC
Collinsworth is a former wide receiver and a well-respected broadcaster and reporter, but he can also irritate millions of fans.
Collinsworth has developed a family among his NBC broadcasting colleagues which is why he continues to be put on the No. 1 broadcast team.
So, how long is he likely to be around, and how much does he make?
Collinsworth’s current contract with NBC, which was negotiated around 2021, supposedly pays him around $12.5 million annually, per Sportskeeda.
His previous deal paid him around $4 million annually, so he got a significant raise.
His current NBC deal is set to go on until 2025.
