Are Eagles endorsing Kamala Harris? NFL franchise releases statement clarifying viral rumors

Over the weekend, NFL fans took notice of a few ad posters going up all over Philadelphia promoting Kamala Harris as “the official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.”

More than a few fans took issue with the ads, with many concerned about keeping politics out of the sport given the current climate around the election. However, the Philadelphia Eagles made it perfectly clear that they were not endorsing any candidate for the election.

After pictures of the ad posters at bus stops went viral, the Eagles put out a statement on social media platform X:

In November 202, Jill Biden turned up to catch what was arguably one of the biggest games of the year: Cowboys vs Eagles in Philly.

Jill Biden might have expected a warmer welcome than the one she was given on the night. The crowd audibly booed Jill Biden as she made her way to the field. A week prior to that, Kim Kardashian was also booed at SoFi Stadium during a game between the Cowboys and the Rams.

In any case, the Eagles picked up a win when Jill Biden was booed that night with backup quarterback Cooper Rush falling short of inspiring the Cowboys to a win.
