On Saturday morning, ESPN aired its first “College GameDay” episode for the 2024 season. Making another return to the show was longtime analyst Lee Corso, who has been on the show since 1987 when it first launched.
It will now be 38 years of Corso gracing the screens of college football fans every Saturday during the regular season. That’s a long time in one profession. Corso is now 89, and some fans worry about him and his health.
During the show, Corso mentioned how lucky he is to remain healthy and return for another year.

However, many fans think it’s time for Corso to leave the show.
“Lee Corso is the Joe Biden of CFB Time to put this dude out to pasture. @CollegeGameDay should stop embarrassing him.“

“I’m of two minds here, its great he’s out there, if you feel like you can bring something fine, but on the other hand, when do we say you don’t need to be there or it’s time to retire?” another said.
