VIDEO: Brandon Aiyuk Dropped Major Hint On Which Team He’s Playing For In 2024 With Interesting Social Media Activity

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk dropped another interesting hint on his next landing spot with some very enticing social media activity.

Last month, Brandon Aiyuk requested a trade from the 49ers following unproductive discussions on a new contract. With the 49ers season opener less than three weeks away, the clock is ticking on a resolution between the two parties.

According to multiple reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been heavily involved with the 49ers in trade discussions for the superstar wideout. And Aiyuk just dropped an interesting hint that he may be Steel City-bound.

Steelers fan and X/Twitter user @Mazursky8895 showed a photo and video of Aiyuk viewing and “liking” his Instagram story of the 49ers star photoshopped in a Pittsburgh uniform. In the IG story, the fan tagged Aiyuk and wrote, “you know it just looks perfect.”

Last week, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Steelers and 49ers agreed on a possible Aiyuk trade, and that the AFC North club was “in a good place on” getting an extension done.

Fast-forward nine days, and the 26-year-old is still a member of the 49ers. But with Aiyuk entering the final year of his rookie contract, the 49ers are better off resolving this matter as soon as possible.

Last season, Aiyuk caught 75 passes for a career-high 1,342 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. The 2020 first-round pick has compiled 269 receptions for 3,931 yards and 25 touchdowns over his first four seasons.

49ers Are Better Off Paying Brandon Aiyuk

At the end of the day, the 49ers are better off paying their top wide receiver as opposed to trading him for draft picks, which are essentially lottery tickets.

San Francisco has a prolific offense led by Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and reigning rushing champion Christian McCaffrey. Opposing teams have no easy way of defending all four players at once, which is why the 49ers need to keep the core together and pay Aiyuk what he wants.
