Former ESPN Host Ripped To Shreds After Calling For Donald Trump To Be Impeached Over Nicolas Maduro Capture

Former ‘SportsCenter’ host Keith Olbermann attracted some crude comments after calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment over the weekend.

Olbermann wants the POTUS to be taken to task over the strikes on Venezuela and the arrest of Nicolas Maduro.

Trump gloated about his successful military operation on Saturday morning. He shared a post revealing that members of the armed forces had captured Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

Many Venezuelans have called for Maduro and his wife to be freed. However, others have openly celebrated the capture of their President. The South American nation has endured inflation, poverty, violence, and gang warfare. And it’s become clear that many citizens believe Maduro’s removal is a step in the right direction.

Popular golf star Jhonattan Vegas was among those who approved of the decision. Still, others, including Olbermann, have been critical of Trump.

“Trump has now endangered every man, woman, and child in this nation by his insane and illegal personal war against Venezuela,” The former ESPN employee wrote in a tweet.“He must be impeached and removed from office immediately.”

Olbermann is a known Trump detractor, while many others support the move. As a result, users keyed in on the notion that Venezuela would be better off without Maduro in power.

One wrote, “The Venezuelan people are celebrating in the streets… You f***ing ret**d.😂”

“Christ almighty, when did this become Rosie O’Donnell’s burner account??” another asked.

Someone else suggested, “You’re really gonna scream & cry when you see the videos of the  Venezuelan people celebrating in the streets.”

One user wrote, “Or should be thanked for making the continent a safer place by removing and illegitimate dictator from power.

According to reports, over eight million Venezuelan citizens have fled the country since 2014 due to the issues noted above.

Many of them have displayed both American and Venezuelan flags as a show of support for Trump’s unseating of Maduro.

Meanwhile, the 63-year-old has appeared in federal court, where he pleaded not guilty to his charges.
