The Green Bay Packers’ defense got a massive upgrade after landing Micah Parsons via a somewhat surprising trade with the Dallas Cowboys earlier this year, so they were always going to be a challenge for JJ McCarthy on Sunday.
The former Michigan quarterback hasn’t had the best start to his professional career, missing his entire rookie season due to an injury and struggling as the starter in his second.
McCarthy gave Green Bay the easiest defensive play they’ll probably see all season, going down immediately after a snap in the early going.
“JJ McCarthy what are you doing??” Dov Kleiman asked.
“Sacking himself😭😭,” he added.
