Former Milwaukee Bucks Legend Takes A Stand For Russell Westbrook As He Is Facing “Unfair Treatment” In The NBA

After playing 11 seasons for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Westbrook was frequently traded to multiple teams after spending a few seasons with each one. The former NBA player criticized the teams for undervaluing Westbrook’s remarkable achievements.

Westbrook Views His Skills and Achievements as Divine Gifts

Robertson held the previous record for most triple-doubles, which was broken by Westbrook with 199. The nine-time NBA All-Star is the only player to have averaged a triple-double over four seasons. However, Westbrook believes that all his skills and achievements are a gift from God that should be honored. During a recent interview with Tec Liemert, he explained the actual meaning of the name of his clothing brand, “Honor The Gift.”

“The name. I wanted to be able to create something that inspires people and gives people confidence. I am a huge man of faith and I believe that we all have gifts and we should honor whatever gift that we have or God has given us. That is strickly how I came up with the name.” Westbrook said.
