Photographer Is Accusing New York Jets Player Of Threatening Him As He Tried To Capture Footage Of Teammate Kris Boyd’s Shooting In NYC [VIDEOS]

Before the world found out that New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot, one photographer was all over it as soon as it happened.

Boyd is fighting for his life in the hospital after being shot in Midtown Manhattan, New York, at around 2 am on Sunday. Police say that no arrests have been made and the shooting took place on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue.

At the moment of that shooting, an X user named Leeroy Johnson was outside and filming when he came upon Boyd being shot. He had no clue who the NFL player was at the time.

In the midst of getting the action, the photographer made a shocking claim that New York Jets wide receiver Irvin Charles repeatedly threatened him and then grabbed his phone. Charles was clearly upset about his teammate, Kris Boyd, being shot and then having a camera recording these tense moments.

“While doing my job as a member of the press, Professional NFL player Irving Charles repeatedly threatened me got in my face and grabbed my phone,” Johnson stated while posting four videos of the altercation.

In the videos, Charles could be heard calling Johnson a “Bum a– ni–a” and going back and forth as cops stood in between them.
