Well, it’s safe to say that Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro offensive tackle Lane Johnson isn’t exactly in a rush to return to Lambeau Field after Monday night’s game.
During the second quarter of the Eagles’ Week 10 road game against the Green Bay Packers, Lane Johnson suffered a knee injury while blocking for running back Saquon Barkley on this play:
Johnson was then seen limping to the locker room with the assistance of some trainers:
To make matters worse, Lane Johnson had to be taken away on a ridiculously tiny cart. Seriously, how did this thing manage to carry a man listed at 6-foot-6 and 325 pounds?
We know opposing players love coming to the historic Lambeau Field venue, but it’s outrageous that this was the best medical cart they could supply for a hulking offensive lineman like Johnson.
The 35-year-old Johnson won his second Super Bowl ring with the Eagles last season, helping Barkley rush for a career-high 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns en route to Offensive Player of the Year honors.
