Losing Stefon Diggs on offense due to a trade hurt the Buffalo Bills, and now losing Matt Milano will hurt them on defense.
For the second straight year, Matt Milano has faced a lengthy absence due to injury. The All-Pro Bills linebacker suffered a torn bicep during practice, ESPN‘s Adam Schefter reported.

As a result of the injury, Milano is out indefinitely.
Adam Schefter further noted that Matt Milano will undergo surgery with the hope of being able to return at some point during the 2024 season.
Until that happens, the Buffalo Bills will need to make alternate arrangements at the linebacker spot.
Less than a year ago, Milano suffered a fractured leg in Week 5 of the 2023 season, which ended his year and left the team without a full-time starter at the second level of their defense through the playoffs.
Milano worked hard to improve and progressed enough to participate on a limited basis during the June minicamp.
Now, he is headed right back into rehab.
Bills LB Matt Milano’s String of Injuries Leaves Moe Questions As He Turns 30-Years-Old
Linebacker Matt Milano, a first-team All-Pro selection in 2022, keeps suffering unfortunate injuries.
The Buffalo Bills will not have All-Pro linebacker Matt Milano in their lineup for most, if not all, of the 2024 season after he sustained a torn bicep and will be out indefinitely.
Milano’s return was one of the most anticipated storylines in Buffalo ahead of the upcoming season, as he was coming off a season-ending leg injury from the 2023 season.
These injuries follow his being named a first-team All-Pro in 2022.
This does not bode well for a guy who turned 30 this past July and leaves the franchise with questions of whether his body has been broken down due to wear and tear.
