Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins and Carolina Panthers defensive end A’Shawn Robinson nearly sparked an all-out brawl after Sunday’s game at Bank of America Stadium.
Dion Dawkins and the Bills cruised to a 40-9 blowout win over the Bryce Young-less Panthers on Sunday, ending a mini two-game losing streak. Star running back James Cook led the way with 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns, with Buffalo’s defense sacking Andy Dalton seven times and forcing three takeaways.
After the game, ESPN’s Kimberley A. Martin posted a video of Dawkins and Robinson nearly starting an all-out brawl while exchanging some words. Both players had to be held back before things escalated any further.
Per Martin, Dawkins taunted Robinson by pointing at the scoreboard and uttering the game’s final score. Dawkins later claimed he was trying to shake hands before the brouhaha started:
