Kylie Kelce is sharing the one item she has to hide from her kids.
During the “Ask Me Some Things” segment on the Thursday, Oct. 23 episode of the Not Gonna Lie podcast, the 33-year-old podcaster revealed that while she doesn’t have to hide scissors, she does have to keep “any type of writing or drawing utensil” away from her four daughters.
Kelce, who is mom to Finnley, 6 months, Bennett, 2, Elliotte, 4, and Wyatt, 6, went on to explain that her kids will get markings everywhere around the house if they get their hands on it.
“So easy. Things that have to be hidden from my children. Surprisingly enough, not scissors. What I do have to be careful of is any type of writing or drawing utensil. It’s everywhere,” she shared. “It’s on the couch. It’s on the wall. It’s on the floor. It’s on the table.”
Kylie, who shares her daughters with husband Jason Kelce, then directly addressed people that she felt would have something to say about her having to hide writing utensils.
“I’ve tried everything. We’ve sat in time-out. We have had to scrub it up ourselves,” Kylie said. “Now, they go on lockdown. That’s our that’s our compromise.”
“To be fair, they are newly 6, 4 and 2,” she added. “Their reasoning and decision making, not the best. But for some reason, anything that is smooth to go on your human body, head to f—— toe. It is absurd. It’s insane,”
“The minute they get a silky crayon, watercolor paint, any paintbrush with even a hint of color left in it. Full face paint. A full full face of paint. It’s bananas,” she added. “I’ve had enough.”
The doting mom went on to share which kid she thinks she’ll eventually need to hide scissors from.
“You know who will be my child that cuts hair? And I know it without a doubt, and I feel like I could millennial pause this, and everyone can say it together,” she said, pausing before continuing, “Bennett Llewellyn Kelce. She is my most mischievous child. Jason and I are in for it.”
In a recent episode of the podcast, Kylie shared she enjoys “low energy” parenting activities, even when it backfires on her.
During a segment on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, where she talks about her late-night internet finds, she revealed a “very seasonally appropriate mom hack” she found while doomscrolling. Kylie shared her thoughts on a video of a mom’s idea for a particular “low energy” activity that parents can do with their children.
“I love low energy kid activities for parents,” she shared. “There was a period of time where we did spa day, and I provided a brand new paintbrush with a tiny little, like, bathroom cup of water. And that was great.”
She continued, “I had my eyes closed, and we were painting clean water onto mom’s face.”

Things took a turn when Kylie opened up her eyes and saw what Bennett was doing with the paintbrush.
“At some point, I peeked an eye open and realized that Bennett was dipping the paintbrush in the water, sucking … the water out of the paintbrush and then painting my face,” she shared. “So I was getting a spit facial, which I could have done without. I could have lived my life not receiving a toddler spit facial.”
“I then quickly realized that spa day could not involve me closing my eyes,” Kylie added. “And that’s okay. I’m okay with that because I still got to lay on the floor.”
