Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola hasn’t shied away from the Patrick Mahomes comparisons and continues to lean into them as he prepares to step up to the pros.
The QB was in action for the Cornhuskers on Friday and, while he couldn’t help them to a win, put on quite the show with some Mahomes-like throws on the night, sending social media into a frenzy.
Raiola first switched hands to lob a short pass for a first down and, on another play, completed a pass while falling.

“This dude literally only watches Mahomes highlights to prepare for games 😭😭 If he makes it to the league he either gonna be the cringiest bust ever or the second coming of an all time great,” a fan commented.

Dylan Raiola Has Copied Patrick Mahomes During A Game Before
Dylan Raiola happens to be a quarterback who looks just like Patrick Mahomes; he can’t help that. But he does make it a point to dress like the Kansas City Chiefs superstar, and last night wasn’t the first time he mimicked him during a game.
Cameras caught him blatantly copying the three-time Super Bowl winner while playing Cincinnati back in August.
Meanwhile, Friday’s 24-6 loss saw Nebraska drop to 5-2 for the season. They will play Northwestern next Saturday.
