BREAKING: Buffalo Bills Place Star Wide Receiver On Injured Reserve, Effectively Ending His 2024 Season

Chase Claypool won’t be catching any passes in 2024.

On Tuesday, it was reported that the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has not practiced in training camp since July 28 due to a toe injury.

The Bills have placed WR Chase Claypool on injured reserve, effectively ending his 2024 season before it could actually begin.

After dropping Chase Claypool from their roster, the Bills added wideout Deon Cain.

It should be noted that, depending on the severity of his injury, Claypool still has the option to play elsewhere if he were to be healthy enough via an injury settlement.

In a combined 12 games last season, Claypool had eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown, per ESPN.
