Mark Sanchez And FOX Are Being Sued Following Arrest For Felony Battery

No one could’ve predicted that things would go badly for Mark Sanchez in 2025, but they are a result of his own alleged actions.

The former NFL quarterback and current FOX Sports analyst has been charged in connection with an altercation between him and a 69-year-old truck driver in Indianapolis. He was previously charged on Sunday while recovering in the hospital with several misdemeanors. He was originally charged with battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication.

His charges have since been upgraded to a felony battery charge.

Now he might be losing a substantial amount of money.

Mark Sanchez is being sued after the alleged victim, 69-year-old delivery driver Perry Tole, filed a lawsuit on Monday.

He is suing Sanchez for assault/battery and FOX for negligent hiring, retention, and supervision, according to TMZ Sports.

The lawsuit says Sanchez appeared intoxicated and instigated an altercation. He also claimed he suffered “severe permanent disfigurement, loss of function, other physical injuries, emotional distress, and other damages” in the incident, per the outlet.

Tote also called out Fox, stating that the company should have known Sanchez had a “propensity for drinking and/or harmful conduct.” He is suing for compensatory and punitive damages.
