Emari Demercado has to be the sickest man in America right now.
As an athlete on a football team, you are always told that if your team is not good enough, you lose as a team. Unfortunately for him, everybody knows that Sunday’s loss is a direct reflection of what he did.
The one thing you can’t do on a long run toward the end zone: Drop the ball before crossing the plane. Yet, it happens every year, from high school to college to the NFL.
Last week, Adonai Mitchell of the Indianapolis Colts lost control of the football while crossing the goal line for an easy touchdown, resulting in a touchback for the opposing team.
Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado was the new face of frustration this week when he broke through the Tennessee Titans’ defense for what appeared to be an easy 72-yard touchdown. However, he would slow down, thinking he had an easy touchdown and simply let go of the football.
The Cardinals were about to go up 28-6, but instead, it was a touchback for the Titans. It had fans wanting him investigated for his actions.

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado had one of the most memorable highlights, which turned into a lowlight after he crossed the plane without a football in his hands.
His touchdown would have given the Cardinals a commanding 28-6 lead at home. His error was costly since the Titans were able to rally late and beat the Cardinals, 22-21, for their first win of the season.
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon was overly pissed off at him.
Footage from the game showed the heated moment with Demercado on the sideline after the play, as he seemingly struck him in the midsection after yelling at him.
