Stephen A. Smith Doesn’t Hold Back His Feelings On Jimmy Kimmel Being Canceled By ABC For His Charlie Kirk Joke [VIDEO]

‘First Take’ host Stephen A Smith has called Jimmy Kimmel out following the late-night show host getting his show pulled off the air due to an ill-advised comment regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk.

ABC announced on Wednesday night that ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ has been canned indefinitely following what Kimmel had to say about Kirk, who was killed during a speaking event at Utah Valley University last Wednesday.

The 57-year-old accused Donald Trump supporters of trying to score points off Kirk’s death by trying to portray his alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, as someone else.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA [Make America Great Again] gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during his monologue on Monday night. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

He also suggested that Trump was not mourning with a clip of the President quickly changing the topic after being asked how he was feeling, given the tragedy.

Smith, who works for ESPN, a Disney-owned company just like ABC, addressed the 57-year-old’s comments on his ‘Straight Shooter’ show on Sirius XM on Thursday, claiming there was nothing funny about what Kimmel put out there.
