Just the day before that, Kirk was gunned down while delivering a speech at Utah Valley University.

President Trump has promised to bring the killer to justice, and that is what happened when he made the announcement that Tler Robinson was in custody.
Robinson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice.
He is expected to be charged on Tuesday. The state is looking for the death penalty.
