Right-wing American activist and commentator Charlie Kirk, a close ally of President Donald Trump, was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday as he debated students during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Unfortunate clips have shown the moment Kirk was shot at an event he was hosting, as his neck began to gush blood onto him and the ground.
The 31-year-old was speaking into a handheld microphone while sitting under a white tent emblazoned with the slogans “The American Comeback” and “Prove Me Wrong.”
Videos circulating on social media shows an attender asking Kirk: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” In response, Kirk says, “Too many.”
In a follow-up question, he was asked: “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?”
Kirk replies: “Counting or not counting gang violence?” Seconds later, Charlie Kirk was gunned down.
Since he was so well known, Kirk had many supporters and critics. He has been praised by the likes of Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, but has also been mocked by many others.
Now, a famous animated series is making a shocking decision regarding an episode about him.
Comedy Central Pulls South Park Episode Mocking Charlie Kirk
In the wake of the death of conservative media personality Charlie Kirk, Comedy Central pulled the rerun of the “South Park” episode “Got A Nut.”
The second episode had Eric Cartman becoming a right-wing podcaster who resembled Kirk and toured college campuses debating students.
“Who wants to debate the master debater?” Cartman was heard saying while sporting the same haircut as Charlie Kirk.
By South Park standards, their mockery of him was pretty tame.
Despite that, they still decided to remove the episode from its cable lineup on Wednesday night, mere hours after Kirk was gunned down.
Instead of airing Season 27, Episode 2, Comedy Central will run Episode 1 from the same season.
