New Up-Close Camera Angle Surfaces Of Lamar Jackson’s Physical Altercation With Bills Fan During SNF [VIDEO]

A new camera angle has surfaced of the viral altercation between Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and a Buffalo Bills fan at Highmark Stadium during their Week 1 “Sunday Night Football” clash.

For those who missed it, NBC Sports cameras caught a hooligan Bills fan slapping Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on the head after a highlight reel touchdown catch in the third quarter. Rightfully upset about the classless move, Lamar Jackson retaliated by shoving the fan.

Here’s the initial video of the incident:

TikTok user @ryanwilliams5044 was seated directly behind the Bills fan when the altercation transpired. Williams uploaded a new camera angle of the fan-Jackson incident that can be seen below:

The fan has since received a ban from all NFL stadiums, games and events.

After the game, Lamar Jackson said he “let my emotions get the best of me, but hopefully it don’t happen again.” The two-time MVP finished the day with 209 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 70 rushing yards and one rushing score.

With the NFL taking care of the incident involving the fan, the Ravens need to stay entirely focused on their Week 2 showdown against the Cleveland Browns.

Jackson and the Ravens had a 40-25 lead with less than five minutes to go and looked poised to hand Josh Allen a rare defeat at Highmark Stadium. Instead, the Ravens endured yet another brutal fourth-quarter collapse under John Harbaugh and allowed 16 unanswered points to fall 41-40.

This was a chance for Baltimore to make a statement after losing to Buffalo in the Divisional Round a year ago. Everything was going right for 55 minutes, until they inexplicably took their foot off the pedal and let Allen complete an improbable comeback.

Regardless of how the Ravens finish the regular season, questions about their inability to close out elite competition will linger until they prove they’ve learned from their mistakes.
