Fans appeared to be done with Jason Kelce after they claimed to be inundated with the former Philadelphia Eagles star, which came just days after Kelce made his feelings clear on Jalen Carter’s ejection.
Kelce is one of the faces of ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Countdown,’ joining Ryan Clark, Scott Van Pelt and Marcus Spears, with each sharing their insight before each game. That said, though Kelce is beloved in Philadelphia, fans elsewhere don’t share the same view, as evidenced by their posts on social media.
In the first ‘Monday Night Countdown’ of the 2025 NFL season, before the Chicago Bears took on the Minnesota Vikings, fans shared, in no uncertain terms, how they personally believe that Kelce had become too much for them to handle.
“*Turns on Monday Night Countdown* Jason Kelce is yelling like a Neanderthal *Turns off Monday Night Countdown,*” a fan wrote on X after seeing Kelce. Another posted: “Why is Jason Kelce yelling on TV for no reason? Calm down dude.”
A fan wrote, “Jason Kelce is so f—ing obnoxious,” which led to another reply, “Said the same thing. Jason Kelce fatigue.” Throughout X, fans shared a similar sentiment, with some posting gifs of a person turning off the TV to convey their dislike for the 37-year-old.
A fan wrote a scathing review of the first week of ‘Monday Night Countdown’ and was immediately turned off by seeing the lineup of Kelce, Clark, and Van Pelt.

“Tried watching Monday Night Countdown because it’s week 1 and why not? My God, these people and segments are all insufferable. Even SVP is getting to me. Jason Kelce is trying too hard. Ryan Clark is a bum. I’m going back to watching baseball,” the fan posted.

In the Eagles’ season opener against the Cowboys, Carter appeared to spit on Prescott, earning himself an ejection. An alternate angle of the game showed that Prescott also spat, to which Kelce posted on X: “And the truth shall set you free.”
