Social Media Detectives Noticed The NFL Is Already Screwing The Los Angeles Chargers Before Their Season Opener vs. Kansas City Chiefs In Brazil

Social media detectives think that the NFL is already trying to screw the Los Angeles Chargers ahead of their Week 1 contest with the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs.

Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers open the 2025 campaign against their longtime rivals at Arena Corinthians in São Paulo, Brazil. This is the second NFL game that will be played in the country, as Brazil welcomed the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles last year.

Some disgruntled Kansas City Chiefs fans think their team is in trouble, all because Carl Cheffers was named the head referee. Cheffers was the official for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 55 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a game that featured many controversial calls against Patrick Mahomes’ group.

On the flip side, others think the NFL is intentionally trying to screw the Chargers after social media detectives picked up an interesting detail: Even though the Bolts are the designated home team, the Chiefs’ logo and colors have been painted in one of the end zones.

This is especially noteworthy because the Eagles were the designated home team against the Packers last year, and both end zones were painted with Philly’s logo and colors:

Make of that as you will.

The Chargers were one of the NFL’s biggest surprises last season under new head coach Jim Harbaugh, finishing with an 11-6 record to lock down just their third playoff appearance since 2014. Of course, that ended with an ugly 32-12 blowout loss to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round

Los Angeles was dealt a giant blow last month, when superstar offensive tackle Rashawn Slater suffered a torn patellar tendon in practice that will sideline him for the entire 2025 season.

But the Bolts have plenty of talent on both sides of the call, so anything less than a playoff victory this year has to be considered a disappointing.
