The San Francisco 49ers continue to entertain potential Brandon Aiyuk trades after months of stalled contract talks.
Aiyuk clearly does not want to play for the New England Patriots despite the mega contract they would give him.
The San Francisco 49ers and All-Pro wide receiver Aiyuk have been deadlocked in their contract negotiations, and it appears both sides are ready to part ways to end this saga.
However, despite how things may look as of right now, The Athletic’s Dianna Russini is reporting that Brandon Aiyuk would rather play for the San Francisco 49ers after moving his family to the Bay Area during the offseason.
“Brandon Aiyuk wants to be there. He wants to play for San Francisco. He moved his family out there in the offseason. They’ve settled down,” Russini said.

What he wants and what the 49ers front office is willing to do in contract negotiations are two different things, and right now, all signs point to him being traded at some point.
Brandon Aiyuk Previously Preferred The Pittsburgh Steelers As A Trade Location
Aiyuk recently requested a trade from San Francisco after they could not agree on a long-term contract.
The Pittsburgh Steelers engaged in negotiations with San Francisco this week, according to ESPN.
That is a good sign since Brandon Aiyuk has made it clear the Steelers are one of his preferred destinations.
